It also provides various mechanical and electrical engineering services for the building industry, which include computerized building automation systems; trading and installation of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems; integrated installation of electrical systems, energy saving, and lift systems; and trading of specialized water tanks and rainwater harvesting products, as well as installation of plumbing systems into building and facilities. In addition, the company is involved in the design, development, installation, general trade, and commissioning of cleaning equipment, central vacuum systems, STREAM automated pneumatic waste collection systems, pipe networks, and specialized connections. Further, it provides railway infrastructure works comprising trading and rail welding works. Additionally, the company operates as an importer, dealer, and contractor for industrial and domestic cleaning equipment and appliances; supplies track materials, machinery, and equipment to railway industry; and engages in the provision of environmental engineering and general trading activities. It operates in Malaysia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. The company was formerly known as AWC Facility Solutions Berhad and changed its name to AWC Berhad in June 2009. AWC Berhad is headquartered in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
